MLI is joining the ranks of the progressive, environmentally responsible businesses as a Green Printer. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Chain of Custody initiative for MLI
Tampa, Florida.( June 30, 2008) MLI's environmental dedication has a long history based on making the best possible use of all resources and minimizing environmental impacts. The first step is to use resources as conventionally as possible. We were one of the first to use non-hazardous inks. We reuse or recycle all that is possible. As a final point, we evaluate materials that leave our plants for disposal, using recycling partners to benefit the environment.
Our long term approach makes perfect business sense, too. When business and environmental welfare happen together, it can be very productive. By not only dropping consumption of raw materials such as paper and ink, but by using certified products we reduce the amount of energy used.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) provide Chain of Custody certifications which are a integral part of sustainable business practices for MLI and our customers. By pursuing FSC, SFI and PEFC Chain of Custody standards, MLI provides assurance to our customers and their consumers that the fiber in their products has been traced from the forest to the finished product; which is not only reasonable but responsible.
Ask about how MLI can make your products GREEN. Go GREEN with MLI

IN FRENCH, SPANISH PDF VERSIONS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 3, 2008) – The 2008 media guides for NASCAR’s three top series – NASCAR Sprint Cup, NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Craftsman Truck – are now available in French and Spanish, housed on NASCARMedia.com, the sanctioning body’s media-only Web site.
Those six versions, in addition to the three English versions of the guides, are available in downloadable PDF format. The translations are the culmination of a five-month project involving NASCAR Public Relations; MLI Integrated Graphic Solutions of Tampa, Fla.; and translating teams in Europe, Canada and Mexico.
MLI is in its third year of working with NASCAR, a partnership resulting from NASCAR’s supplier diversity and minority vendor program aimed at fostering a more diverse supplier base. The program invites women and minority-owned businesses to be considered equally as subcontractors and suppliers for all goods and services purchased at NASCAR.
MLI, which has been in operation for more than 40 years, is Hispanic-owned. In addition to NASCAR, MLI has also worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning.
In 2007, MLI won a Florida Print Award for its work on NASCAR’s media guides.
